Clean up your CSS
Does your CSS look a mess? Try this new tool to clean it up.
The Clean CSS tool takes your existing CSS and cleans it by applying certain (excuse the pun) styles to the CSS.
You can take your CSS code and paste it into the workarea or use a URL to grab from a site. When you've entered your CSS into the Clean CSS, now you start to select how you want your CSS cleaned.
The compression, or code layout, is laid out in 5 categories:
- Highest (no readability, smallest size)
- High (moderate readability, smaller size)
- Standard (balance between readability and size)
- Low (higher readability)
- Custom
The custom option allows you to enter your own parameters such as save comments, compress colors, or what case you want for your properties.
Overall, I think the web needed a tool like this. There are some CSS code out there that needs cleaned (and that includes mine). :-)
