When starting a business, you may encounter the price of software may outweigh the price of hardware. But nowadays, software doesn't have to be expensive to provide enterprise-level benefits.

Line56.com posted the Top 10 Free Business Intelligence Applications. Naturally, all of them are open source and this article provides more acronyms than a CES show.

This article reminds me of InfoWorld's article on how to build a business with open source, which is located in the archives. The article provides at least 3 or 4 applications in each of the following categories:

Definitely a great find for entrepreneurs who are starting up a business and working with a limited budget.
