Log4Ajax for debugging AJAX applications

Nice JavaScript utility for debugging AJAX.

Recently, I got a phone call at home about a problem with an application that was using AJAX. Over the phone, there was really no way to determine the problem unless I was sitting there and running Firefox with FireBug.

Then, I remembered that I had seen a simple solution on Sun's web site: Log4Ajax.

The whole idea Log4Ajax is to provide client-side logging using a DIV and log everything to that while in JavaScript so you at least know what's happening.

Kudos to the author, Eric Spiegelberg. Thanks, Eric.
