Songbird: Flipping the bird to version 0.2
A new version of Songbird has been released! Extensions have arrived for the Songbird.
Back in September, I talked about Songbird as an iTunes alternative. Since then, I've been waiting for the extensions to emerge.
Now, Songbird 0.2 is released with extensions. Since it builds off of the Firefox extensions architecture, the music extensions should will be familiar to Firefox users.
Here is a list of the first extensions developed by Songbird users (the "early birds"):
- Qloud Tagging & Search
- Windjay
- Audioscrobbler Notifier
- Wikipedia Artist Display
- Shoutcast Radio Directory
- Minimize-to-Systemtray
Looking over the extensions, Songbird is off to a great start.
