So you think you want to be a manager?
Boxes and Arrows writer Erin Malone discusses her transition from designer to manager.
You have stars in your eyes, right? You want the title, you want the prestige, oh..and you probably want the money? Making a transition from a worker to a manager is difficult and, trust me, it may not be greener on the other side.
Erin Malone was promoted from a designer to a manager and now that she's a manager, she's made some interesting realizations. Her article, "So you think you want to be a manager?", is right on target and recommend reading it before taking that managerial position.
I've been there before and I'm not envious. :-)
