Great detailed tutorial on how to create a custom Firefox Toolbar.
BornGeek.com has very elaborate tutorial on how to create your very own Firefox toolbar.
The article is broken into 8 parts:
- Getting started
- Creating the Framework
- Structuring the toolbar
- Dynamic Development
- Skinning the toolbar
- Scripting the toolbar
- Packaging the toolbar
- Testing our Extension
There are only four things you need to know to create your own Firefox toolbar: XML, JavaScript, CSS, and a Zip Utility.
Give me your personal feedback on how thorough you think the tutorial is.
