Great detailed tutorial on how to create a custom Firefox Toolbar.

BornGeek.com has very elaborate tutorial on how to create your very own Firefox toolbar.

The article is broken into 8 parts:

  1. Getting started
  2. Creating the Framework
  3. Structuring the toolbar
  4. Dynamic Development
  5. Skinning the toolbar
  6. Scripting the toolbar
  7. Packaging the toolbar
  8. Testing our Extension

There are only four things you need to know to create your own Firefox toolbar: XML, JavaScript, CSS, and a Zip Utility.

Give me your personal feedback on how thorough you think the tutorial is.
