Linux is becoming quite popular. One of the popular flavors of Linux is Ubuntu. The installation of Ubuntu is becoming popular because of it's ease of installation.

However, there are some people who have problems installing and maintaining such a geeky operating system (OS).

This week's extension review is the Ubuntu Forums addon.

Ubuntu Forums is an addon full of Ubuntu bookmarks that you can place into the context menu in the browser or attach it to the pulldown menu.

The installation of the Ubuntu Forums extension is 11k and after a restart of Firefox, it can be activated by right-clicking in the browser.

There aren't any features for this extension except for the bookmarks.

The configuration screen has two options: Add menu to Context Menu and Add to Toolbar. Aside from these two options, there aren't any other configurable options available.

The Ubuntu Forums extension is an easy access bookmark group when you need to find out more about a particular feature or problem with Ubuntu.

I know the Ubuntu Forums extension has the same features of GUtil, but Google is considered more of a household name than Ubuntu. It is gaining speed though.

This extension focuses on the hobbyist or professional who tinkers with Ubuntu and needs to find that answer.

If you dig around, you may find some exceptional projects in the forums.

Ubuntu Forums receives a rating of 4 out of 5.
