Do you spend too much time at home where it affects your work? Here's how to balance it.
When Hurricane Katrina's devastating path went through the South, it left a majority of people without homes.
How could you deal with something like that and still go to work?
StartupJournal.com has an article on how to balance home issues with work. According to the article, one of the traits you need to have is being "super organized." This is still something I have problems coming to grips with. In case of an extreme disaster, it may be hard to be super organized while your posessions are floating away.
Another key point is to make sure you communicate with the person you work with (associate) and/or your boss regarding your personal situation. Keep key people in-the-know about what is happening in your personal life when it overlaps with work. Communicating with your boss will provide the reasoning why you're late for work or why you need to leave early.
Just keep them in the loop and keep on keeping on.
