With 2007 right around the corner, here are some links to help you prepare for your best year ever!

Now that the holidays are over (well, half of them anyway) and the work week is quiet, this is the best time for entrepreneurs to start evaluating your business and goals for the upcoming 2007 year.

Take the time and prepare your resolutions not only for yourself, but for your business as well.

When I look back over 2006, it has been a great year, but with everything I've been doing, it has been stressful. Speaking of stressful, I found a great post regarding the 10 steps on how to become stress free. The article is a great read and I think pertains to just about everyone.

Sales in 2007

Everyone is looking for a way to save money, right? Here's a way to make a big impression on a small budget. Most people aren't marketing geniuses, but the article covers 4 good ways to impress a client with a minimal amount of cash.

However, if you do have a good amount of cash, entrepreneur's own kim t. gordon writes about creating ads that ring up sales. As the old saying goes, "it takes money to make money."

Networking in 2007

My preferred way of getting your name out there is strictly word-of-mouth. If you need ways of getting your name out there, Small Business Trends has 57 word of mouth tactics to get you started. Trust me, they work!

Generating leads in 2007 is a great way to expand your client base (naturally). Over at Guerilla Job Hunting, they have a series called the 12 days of Job Hunting and Day 9 was particularly interesting: Nine tools for researching leads. The leads may be job offers or company information, but nonetheless, they provide important links to find out about your competition or potential job opportunity.

But when it comes to leads and networking and you're a Micro-ISV, networking is the last thing you want to think of, but it's a necessary evil. You need to venture out of your cave and find more clients and work for your business to survive. BusinessPundit.com writes about how introverts can network. I especially like the philosophy behind "kissing a lot of frogs" to find the prince.

Predicting 2007

I've made predictions for the coming year here, but there are a lot of technology predictions happening around the 'net. Ryan Stewart predicts what 2007 will bring in Rich Internet Applications. He's predicting that Apollo will be bigger than expected. I'll agree with that as well.

Read/Write web has started the 2007 web predictions and if you are still looking for more predictions, Darren Rowse has compiled an entire list from bloggers about reviews and predictions.

I hope your business takes off in 2007 and generates more sales and leads than the competition. Good luck and here's to a brand new year of excitement.
