Happy New Year everyone. I hope everyone had some great holiday time off.

There is also another celebration I'm personally having in which DCS Media has turned 1 today. After posting over 500 posts this years, I feel better about using technology (including this site) to help individuals who want to stay ahead of the technology curve. A lot has happened in the last year, and I expect a lot to happen in this year as well.

Adobe hits the handheld market heavy.

Adobe is planning on making their software available on every mobile device.

Hot on the news of the Flash Lite 2 release, C|Net has news about Adobe distributing their software to moving fast into the handheld market.

"Shipments of mobile devices using flash have more than tripled from 12 million to 45 million units in 2005..."

Wow...that's a lot of units!

CES is gearing up!

C|Net has coverage on the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) coming up in Las Vegas again.

There were a lot of things that I noticed that were of interest on C|Net's coverage of the CES, but two stuck out the most:

  • Commodore poised for a comeback?
  • Intel has signed The Black-Eyed Peas to play on January 5 at their party (yeah man!)

A little bit about myself...The technology bug bit me when I was around 11. My first PC (Wait for it)...Commodore VIC-20 with BASIC...with the tape drive...and 32K expander card (K-CHUNK!)
