Fireday - Firefox extensions for February 9, 2006
Excellent extensions for a Friday.
I'm starting up a weekly posting every Friday called Fireday.
New weekly Firefox extensions discussed on Friday = Fireday
So let's get started with the first batch...
Session Restore
Ever have Firefox crash while you have 15 tabs open at once? This extension saves your tabs on a crash. When you run Firefox the next time, it asks you if you want to restore your tabs from the previous session.
Presently, the only way to use the Session Restore is through extensions, but as you can see from the Wiki, they are planning on implementing it into Firefox for a future release.
Oracle News extension
If you use OraBlogs or OraNA to keep up with the latest from the Oracle blogging community, the Oracle News Firefox extension is for you.
It is now compatible with Firefox 1.5.
Selenium IDE 0.7
Want to test out your web site in Firefox? This feature-packed extension uses Selenium to test your web pages and reports on whether each test is a success or failure.
Definitely a good extension for Web Quality Assurrance Testers.
Well, that's it for this week. See ya next Fireday!
