Need to keep track of your web site statistics? Google Analytics can provide more data about your site than you can imagine and it's free.
I've been using Google Analytics for a while and it definitely has more data about who visits, where they came from, and much much more.
The feature I remember the most when it first came out was the JavaScript code that Google purchased. This technique is awesome for tracking site clicks and understanding how users move through your site. You can easily modify this technique to add more data, but the more data you're passing through, the slower the page refresh. This is one technique that Google uses on their site. There are tons more.
The dashboard when you sign in has four Flash charts that give you an idea of how your site is handling the requests. However, there's no way to change those views to see other specific metrics for the site.
If you have problems or want to learn advanced techniques on how to keep track of your site metrics, visit the Conversion University or the blog.
If interested, visit Google Analytics and sign up. Hey...it's free.
