Take a spin on the new DCS Media.
Over the past four months, I have been working on this new design and this is the result.
For those who know me, I decided to build my own blog system. It was custom built from the ground up and provides a lot of features that the fully-loaded blogs contain.
Some of the upgrades from the old site structure are:
- Loads 25% faster than before.
- Provide subscriptions for the audience interested in people who post a comment.
- A better design layout.
- A Featured Sections area for older and popular posts.
- A membership area that will expand in the future.
- Full RSS Posts
- and much more.
One other feature I was pushed into was the membership. Every blogger faces spammers more than they care to.
The way the comment board works now is if you post a message anonymously, it won't appear right away until approved for public viewing. If you are a registered user, it will appear right away.
I apologize for this. Unfortunately, I have no other way to control spammers.
Anyway, look around the site and let me know if you have any suggestions for me. As you can see, I've built a lot around my audience and want to provide even more in the future.
June 1st starts a new month and a new DCS Media.
Thanks to everything and I'll continue to bring more fresh news, tips, and trends.

P.S. Oh...this week's Fireday is 1/4 of the way done. I will post this week's edition next week. Now, I need some sleep. Enjoy the Fireday archive. :-)
